The XII World Forestry Congress (WFC), hosted by Canada and the province of Quebec under the auspices of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, is scheduled for Quebec City, September 21 to 28, 2003. This major international forum, entitled “Forests, Source of Life” will attract 5,000 participants from 160 countries who will explore innovation in the forest sector and set direction for the development of forest policies, practices, research, and international cooperation.
