Cultural Events

The XII WFC is being held in the traditional territory of the Huron-Wendat Nation. As the host Indigenous nation, the Huron-Wendat Band Council will stage a variety of cultural events and activities in Wendake, Quebec.

Networking and Exchanges

Attendance at the Indigenous Peoples Forestry Forum and the XII WFC will provide an opportunity to meet others with similar interests and to exchange approaches to common concerns; to discuss Indigenous innovations for potential replication; to meet with governments and industry representatives and others; and to explore possible Inter Indigenous partnerships.
