For the Indigenous Peoples' activities and events at the XII WFC, a steering committee has been established consisting of the First Nations of Quebec and Labrador Sustainable Development Institute, the Council of the Huron-Wendat Nation, the Assembly of First Nations and the National Aboriginal Forestry Association (NAFA). The First Nations of Quebec and Labrador and NAFA are members of the XII WFC Organizing Committee. NAFA will assume a co-ordinating role in facilitating Indigenous Peoples’ participation.
